[Virtools] Implementation of 3D sound / binaural auralization in Virtools

We are currently working on a project at the IT-University of
Copenhagen about implementing real-time 3D (binaural)
Sound and acoustic simulation into a real-time 3D graphics rendering
environment.

We are considering developing the system for use with Virtools.

We are interested in some information regarding the building blocks API
(Developer)
for the system, especially how sound is implemented and how the
geometrical information of the objects are passed to the building
blocks.

We would also like to know if the program already supports some kind of
3D/binaural sound processing/auralization or if anyone else has
plans of implementing it in the near future.

You are welcome to contact us for more information about the project.
