Hi,
We managed to get nice material1 -> material2 fade effect using Channels.
After some testing following settings works in Direct3D. Channel1 -
SrcAlpha - InvSrcAlpha, Channel2 - SrcAlpha - InvSrcAlpha. Materials at
Channel1 and Channel2 are set Modulate - One - Zero. Now Material2 can be
nicely revealed by adjusting it's alpha value.
Problem is that this setting does not work in OpenGL at all. Actually I
couldn't find any settings to get this kind of behavior in OpenGL.
Is there any hope to get fade between channels effect in OpenGL?
We are developing in W2K, 3D card is GeForce2 GTS.
Thanks,
Lassi Immonen
