To update you about the physics in Virtools:
Ipion merged with Havok last year, and Virtools has signed a deal with Havok
to distribute a physics behavior pack.
The pack is now fully implemented. It will be released separately, and will
be fully compatible with Virtools Dev 2.0.

Hello all!
My name is Julian Spillane, and I am currently working on a 3D kart racing
game akin to say, Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing. Anyways, I have been
mulling over many car physics papers online and such, but they have been a
damned pain to fully understand and implement in C++, let alone translate
all the formulae to Dev. I was kind of wondering, if anyone out there could
give me a hand with developing even a small car physics implementation?
