Hi Brian,
I've pulled your attachment out and pasted it below (along with a few more comments that start with ">" ).

The last couple posts on this thread answer a lot of questions I've had.
Thanks. Can you load the same NMO file in multiple times and pass
parameters to it? This would be ideal.
> You can load the same NMO file as many times as you want. As for passing parameters, exactly what do you mean? Do you want to set up certain attributes (such as the diffuse color of a material) or are you trying to trigger some form of (behavior) processing? Either way, the best way to design that I have found) is via configuration files (via arrays) and message passing between objects. For myself, it was a real paradigm shift to convert to a system where I tried to use message passing as much as possible. That said, there are still times when I must use shortcuts.
I'm sorry. But I remain a die hard coder. I'll have to see 2.0 in
action to truly feel better about it. Are there easier ways to construct
complex logic now?
> Well, if you are a die hard coder then creating a new BB is not very difficult and you can create any logic that you can possibly imagine. Otherwise, things haven't changed that much on the logic front. Do you feel comfortable with the BBs in Logics/Streaming? These BBs are very powerful but were not "intuitively obvious" to me.
Can I read in information from a database or even a
text file?
> These are already available with Array Load and Save
There are a billion things I would like to be able to do which
I can already do else where. Script would be a fine example of one such
thing. Maybe I am missing a lot of pieces of the puzzle.
> I know that I still feel, after a couple of years, that I am discovering amazing new things that even the people that I know at Virtools never thought of using their tools to do - just as so many others have discovered too.
I'll refrain from making interface design comments until I see
2.0.
I just feel like I am always doing battle with Virtools to get the
information I need to effectively develop. An example of this is the
documentation for the parameter operations. Besides being buried 3
levels down, there is no explaination of the math operation performed
on say 'reflect', for instance. Does anybody else feel they are in a tug
-of-war? I don't mean to always end my posts on a negative note. I'm just=
very
frustrated after using Creation 1.01.

> And I don't blame you. Personally, I think that documentation and tutorials are the most imortant part of gaining acceptance for a new development environment and 1.0.1 is very weak in that area. Dev 2.0 is much better but can still be improved. For example, I believe that there are more than a thousand new pages of documentation for the SDK for those of you/us that are die hard coders and I have already mentioned my role in the new User Guide (by the way, the new UG development was led by Christopher McCarthy at Virtools - credit where credit is due ;-).
