Re: [Virtools] More demos and downloads

Hi again,
The DLL that is currently on my site is a run-time only version... in other
words you can not use the enclosed BBs in new compositions of your own.
As noted below, and in other inquiries, some people have expressed an
interest in obtaining this DLL. If there is enough demand, then I can make
it available via one of those purchase/download services (anyone have any
recommendations in this regard?).
My major concern is support for I am a very busy man. The BBs work on
everything that I have tried them on, but one never knows.
As I note on the web page, displacement mapping and bump mapping require
well formed meshes of non-trivial poly counts to look really good. For
example, that sphere has about 5,000 faces so probably 2,000 of them
contribute to the visual effect.
All that said, if you are interested in licensing the DLL, please let me
know via direct email. Just FYI, the expected fee is probably $99 US for
the combination of the two BBs and both authoring and runtime versions of
the DLL.
Thank you.
David Callele
