Objet : Re: [Virtools] Possible bug in web player - need workaround - urgent :-(Just a thought: did you update the grids.dll in both the main BuildingBlocks directory and the WebPlayer BuildingBlocks directory?----- Original Message -----From: Dan ChristoffersenSent: Monday, July 30, 2001 9:38 AMSubject: [Virtools] Possible bug in web player - need workaround - urgent :-(Hello EveryoneAs the deadline for the project I'm working on is getting dangerously close, ( 06.08.01) I suddenly have discovered a huge problem when playing my Virtools creations in the browser. I've been working my b*** off to find a solution, but unfortunately, without much luck. Hopefully some of you can give me a solution or help me work around this problem. The problem is this:I am using the grid to limit the space of where a character can move in a scene by using the "Switch if square"-BB. The grid is also used to detect if the character moves into a position where the scene should change to another scene (e.g. moves into a door )
This works fine in the DEV SE Authoring software until I export the file to the Virtools player and play it in the browser (ie) this only works the first time. However the limit layer of the grid still works???Does anyone have a suggestion about what might cause this. Looks to me like a bug in the the web-player control. Please help .../Dan (Stoffer) Christoffersen
