Re: [Virtools] Token System

------------------------
I have also found out that if I use Dev 2.0 in a commercial application then
I must pay again even for a single use on a kiosk.
---------------------------------
Hi , as i mentioned maybe before we're starting up a company after the
summer, and a gearing up for a dev 2.0 purchase.
I've read the publish section of the site,
and as far as i read it a kiosk presentation, under 4 screens only requires
the virtools references..
and above this, the virtools reference or 1000 euro per screen..

has this changed??
or have i read it completely, and what about eh offline stand alone
distribution., i've been told that dev2.0 ships with a ready to assemble
ofline player.
does this mean you can embed that code or change the appearance of the stand
alone player,
or does the use of the stand alone player, require a fee.

This is quite essential information if you'd want to use dev 2.0 for
commercial projects, especcially if clients demand their logo or whatever in
the loading screen instead of the virtools logo.. I understand and agree
taht the virtools reference and acreditation is important when shipping a
product made with virtools ,
it's nothing different than with director.. But how to which extend is
virtools requiring it.. would say a mention in the credits or a link to the
virtools website in the customised stand alone player suffice..

I'm very interested in the specifics of the license agreement for the stand
alone player code shipped with dev 2.0 (and general dev20 use) .
Is it too be found online somewhere?

Now i'm at it, when wil the details about the behavioral server made
available?, I assume its a server side apllications as well, will virtools
offer hosting for the server side of it as well (for a fee off course) , or
does it have to be installed at a local hosting party, etc etc.

best regards,
tomas sala

ps: there are mentionings of the physics package on the swapmeet but no
mention of release on the virtools website??
