How about using the printed user guide? It includes a 'quick start' that
should help you find your way around the interface

Hello guys,

my name is Eric and I want to use Virtools for my final dissertation to
finish my studies. My problem is that I donīt know where to begin
because
the help-file is not in tutorial style and the tutorials on the
Mini-Site
are in no chronological order.
Does anyone of you have a hint for me where to start?
