Hi Kam,
how are you publishing your project ?
Are you using the standalone player or an application based on the webplayer activex control.

If the latter, then you can use the techsmith Camtasia Screen Recorder SDK.
This is essentally another ActiveX control, so you can integrate that into the container app as well.
Then the only thing that you need is to let the container app forward the communication from virtools to the screen cam AX.

Ofcourse this requires some C++ or VB programming in the container app.
I have done this in previous projects
So if you're going that way, don't hezitate to throw some questions my way.

P.S. it should be possible to add an ActiveX control to the standalone player, but I haven't done this before.
I suspect that will take a fair amount of windows programming knowledge.
