[Virtools] about joystick

hi
never used joysticks so i have some questions

any suggestion about a good joystick (or joypad) to use with virtools ??
anyone that is not to buy (usb-ps2)??

virtools is able to detect the intensity of the joystick (or joypad)
displacment(  to have a walking anymation or a running animation in
accordance to how much i move the joystick???)

what about multijoystick and the force feedback i hear about in the forum??
