I find that this option means that each time you save your cmo you also have
to save all textures which takes a long time. I always use external files
option in texture rich work as this reduces the time spent saving files.

Just make sure that all your textures directories are listed in the path
manager, and remember if you revisit a job you will need to load its
resource file as well.
