I don't have authorware here, but here's some syntaxes from C++
long CVirtools::GetObjectID(LPCTSTR Name)
long CVirtools::SetAttribute(long ObjectID, LPCTSTR AttributName, LPCTSTR AttribValue)
void CVirtools::Play()

Hope this helps

Ciao, Patrick

HI all users!

Thanx to all answers :-)

Patrick, how to use the "GetObjectID" method e.g. in Authorware with the AX? I need the syntax to work with it ;-)

Sorry, I don't want to keep you from work, but implementing ActiveX is not easy ...

Thanx for all!

Greetings, Matthias

You don't provide that ID from virtools yourself.
You use the GetObjectID method of the AX to get it (objectname as parameter).

Hi all!

It's a long time ago I believe.

For ActiveX Control I need the object ID of an object in the Virtools cmo. How can I figure out that integer in Virtools environment?

Thanks a lot,

Greetings, Matthias
