Hi Jeroen, to include FOP into Mozilla, we need the following steps: a) make a C/C++ version and package it as a XPCOM module b) We would have probably to convert from XSL Fos to actuals Mozilla Fos with FOP. This is quite different form the actual FOP behavior which is to convert from XSL Fos to PDF. regards Didier PH Martin mailto:martind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.netfolder.com -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jeroen van Rotterdam Sent: Sunday, June 20, 1999 2:05 PM To: XSL-List@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: release of FOP Thanks James for releasing FOP. Is anyone interested in making FOP into a Mozilla like open source project with module owners to speed up further development of FOP. What would be the best way to get such a thing started ? A while ago someone posted the following interesting idea: - Contributors of open source projects should get shares in the open source project organisation. - something like a k of authorized quality source multiplied with a complexity factor has a certain share value ;-) - a small review board should qualify the code jeroen --------------------------------------------------------- Jeroen van Rotterdam The Connection Factory http://www.tcf.nl jeroen@xxxxxx --------------------------------------------------------- XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
