What they should do is write Knuthian WEB-like XML document that, upon
application of one stylesheet, produces the desired stylesheet and upon
application of another stylesheet produces documentation of that stylesheet.
I don't know that this idea is as crazy as it sounds (at least to me). I'm
currently in the process of rewriting the stylesheets behind XMLSOFTWARE. It
has occurred to me numerous times that it would be relatively easy to write
a stylesheet for stylesheets. If I find the time today, I'll give it a bash
and report back with results.
