Subject: ifdefined test for variable From: "Jon Smirl" <jonsmirl@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 5 Aug 1999 21:37:45 -0400 |
Using the latest XSLT spec, is there anyway to do an 'if defined' test on a variable? I'm trying to add the variable as an attribute value if it is defined. Here's what I'd like to do but I'm unable to figure out how to achieve it. <body> <xsl:if test="ifdefined($onload)"> <xsl:attribute name="onload">$onload</xsl:attribute> </xsl:if> HTML text goes here </body> An even shorter way would be: <body onload="{$onload}"> and to not generate the attribute if onload wasn't defined.
