An alternative would be:
<xsl:output method="html"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<body>
<xsl:if test="your test">
<xsl:attribute name="bgcolor">white</xsl:attribute/>
</xsl:if>
document body
</body>
>/xsl:template>
You could also use:
<xsl:output method="html"/>
<xsl:variable name="bgcolor" select="string('white')/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<body bgcolor={$bgcolor}>
document body
</body>
>/xsl:template>
These examples follow the current XSL syntax. Microsoft's XSL support is a
year out of date.
