Subject: Mixing XSL stylesheet and Java handlers in Saxon From: "Yannick Nicolas" <yannick@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 15 Dec 1999 15:00:43 +0000 |
Hello,
I'm trying to use Saxon for my project and as I've tried to understand
for a while, things are getting much and much more obscure.
I have an XSL stylesheet, and I want my program add some particular
handlers for some particular nodes, depending on external parameters.
Is it possible to load the StyleSheet, "prepare" it and add
additional node handlers, and then render the XML document?
Or must I get off my XSL Stylesheet and write in the program all the
node handlers corresponding to my initial Stylesheet plus the
additional ones ?
To sum up, I'm trying to initialize something like:
public void prepare() throws SAXException {
InputSource mySheet = new InputSource("C:\\Transfo-sax.XSL");
mainSheet = new StyleSheet();
mainSheet.prepareStyleSheet(mySheet);
mainSheet.compileStyleSheet
mainSheet.renderSource(new InputSource("C:\\colombia.xml"));
setHandler( "html", new htmlHandler());
setHandler( "body", new bodyHandler() );
}
Where am I wrong ?
Thanks!
Y.Nicolas
