any DOM XML-parser/generator does that job -----Original Message----- From: Anders K [mailto:cyberspock@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Dienstag, 1. Hi, I am currently doing an export of some database tables into XML and I was wondering if there is any simple metod to convert the national characters ÅÄÜÖ and such to a format that the XML parser understands? I have a routine(Java) to convert the characters to XML-strings like Ü however I find that pretty ineffective - there must be some other way... Is there any other way? =) TIA </anders> XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
