Use <xsl:number level="..."/> the authorized values are any, single, multiple
try it in your xsl stylesheet.

How can i get the depth of a node...?
Sample :
<DOCUMENT>

<LINE> toto </LINE>
<LINE> titi </LINE>
</HEADER>
<BODY>
<LINE> the body text here </LINE>
</BODY>
</DOCUMENT>
And i want somethink like
DOCUMENT : 1
HEADER : 2
LINE : 3
LINE : 3
BODY : 2
LINE : 3
