| Subject: Whose axis am I? From: quagly <quagly@xxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 03 Apr 2000 14:19:26 -0700 |
    I believe I am confusing myself with an axis issue.
    Why is it that with xml:
    <root>
           <tag name="greedy"></tag>
           <tag name="lonely"></tag>
    </root>
if I output the tag attributes with
<xsl:template match="tag">
    <xsl:value-of select="@name"/>
</xsl:template match>
I get both of them:
greedylonely
but if I match with
<xsl:template match="tag">
    <xsl:value-of select="../tag/@name"/>
</xsl:template match>
I get:
greedygreedy
that is, the first attribute twice.
Thanks
