Subject: retreiving the current record from a data source object From: "Krishnamurthy, Rama" <RKrishnamurthy@xxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 20 Sep 2000 11:27:34 -0400 |
Hi,
My table looks like
<TABLE id=dsotable border=0 cellPadding=0 cellspacing=0 dataSrc=#resultdso
datapagesize=15>
<TR>
<TD width="120">
<a href="javascript:assignCustomerValues();">
<SPAN dataFld=insured_last_name_1></SPAN>
<SPAN dataFld=insured_first_name_1></SPAN>
</a>
</TD>
<TD width="160">
<SPAN dataFld=street_number></SPAN>
<SPAN dataFld=street_name></SPAN>
<SPAN dataFld=second_street_name></SPAN>
</TD>
<TD width="110">
<SPAN dataFld=city></SPAN>
<SPAN dataFld=state_code></SPAN>
</TD>
</TR>
</TABLE>
'resultdso' is the table' data source and the table uses the 'Data binding'
technique to
display all the records in the data source.
The function 'assignCustomerValues()' in the first column should have the
current record's
'policy number' column value as its argument.
How do I access the current record' column values for each row in the data
source?
Thanks in advance.
Rama.
