Subject: Summing over nodes belonging to different ns From: "Parker, Daniel" <Daniel.Parker@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 25 Oct 2000 07:20:37 -0700 |
If my xml document looks like <summary> <us:item xmlns:us="www.us.com"> <us:value>1000</us:value> </us:item> <us:item xmlns:us="www.us.com"> <us:value>2000</us:value> </us:item> <them:item xmlns:them="www.them.com"> <them:value>1000</them:value> </them:item> <them:item xmlns:them="www.them.com"> <them:value>2000</them:value> </them:item> </summary> is there a simple way of using the sum function to compute a grand total for the us:values and the them:values?
