$curcat contains a string value like "cash" or "domesticEquity" so calling
format-number() on it wouldn't work.
the elements /AssetAnalyzer/cash or /AssetAnalyzer/domesticEquity contain an
actual number like 12.5 which I want display as a percentage (12.5%).
I tried:
<xsl:value-of
select="format-number(concat('/AssetAnalyzer/',$curcat),'#00%')"/>
the result I got was :
concat('/AssetAnalyzer/',$curcat) NaN
where I expected the percentage to appear.
