hi, probably i am making stpuid mistake : i gave following xsl rule to display Xs each time when SessionStartupTime < 20 otherwise display Ys : <xsl:template match="/"> <xsl:for-each select = "//SessionStartupTime" > <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="SessionStartupTime >10"> X </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> Y </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> </xsl:for-each> </xsl:template> and following is piece of my xml : <JartaXmlReport> <SessionStartupTime>44</SessionStartupTime> <PageTime>400000000</PageTime> <TransactionTime>400</TransactionTime> </JartaXmlReport> <JartaXmlReport> <SessionStartupTime>55</SessionStartupTime> <PageTime>500000000</PageTime> <TransactionTime>500</TransactionTime> </JartaXmlReport> <JartaXmlReport> <SessionStartupTime>11</SessionStartupTime> <PageTime>100000000</PageTime> <TransactionTime>100</TransactionTime> </JartaXmlReport> pls correct my XSL pice ...i am totally confused .... tx AA ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=1 XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
