[xsl] writing an xml with jsp

Hi Folks,
        I am just interested in knowing weather i can write an xml using a 
jsp . Actually i want to make changes in my xml configuration files using 
jsp without directly changing the XML's so can anybody suggest me the best 
way to do that i am using jakarta-tomcat and the xsl taglib of apache do 
display the xml's in jsp using xslt.
