Is this what you are trying to do?
<template name="header">
<xsl:apply-templates select="img" />
<br/>
</template>
<template match="img">
<img src="@src">
<xsl:attribute name="alt">alternativ text</xsl:attribute>
</img>
</template>

Subject: [xsl] How can i transform output stream again.
hi,
is it possible to transform my output stream again? Of course it is, but
how?
xml snip:
<template name="header">
<img src="test.gif/>
<br/>
</template>
<template match="img">
<img src="@src">
<xsl:attribute name="alt">alternativ text</xsl:attribute>
</img>
</template>
if your are calling this template for a header image. i would like to send
the output stream created by template header to parse through the template
match="img" to insert an alt text.
i gues its possible if i create a variable and apply the img template to
this
variable, but is there another way. Whats the best way do achieve this?
thanks in advance
janning
