Well yes, XPath is (should be) XPath wherever it's implemented, and
there's probably more XPath expertise here than anywhere else.

But your XPath notation is being handed over to an engine most of us
here don't drive, at least not with XSLT hats on, and if it turns out
that's where your problem lies, XML-DEV would be a better list.
