[xsl] grouping and selecting

Hi folks,
           In the below code

<xsl:for-each select="//ID[not(. = following::ID)]">
          <ID><xsl:value-of select="."/></ID>
</xsl:for-each>

this gives me all the unique ID's without repeating but i even want to get 
other elements values without repeat whose id is the same as above how do we 
do that.
