[xsl] xml data islands and parameters

I've an xml data island, can I pass the parameter to xsl file.  I'm using
Microsoft Parser 3.

I know to create template object .  But it's not working...whenever I call
my xsl by passing the parameter it hangs.

Eg:
<xml id="xmldso" src="data.xml">

I updated the xmldso by adding extra elements

I want to pass the parameter to xsl by using xmldso.

   var xslDoc = new ActiveXObject("MSXML2.FreeThreadedDOMDocument");
   xslDoc.async = false

  var tem = new ActiveXObject("MSXML2.XSLTemplate");
  tem.stylesheet = xslDoc;
  var proc = tem.createProcessor();

  //Add the parameters
  proc.addParameter("id", "0");
  proc.input = xmldso;

  //Transform the document
  proc.transform();
  var str = proc.output;
