[xsl] msxml and top-level parameters

Does anyone know if msxml supports top-level
parameters?

I know you can pass it parameters when you load the
xml and xsl pages using active X controls from other
languages.  I was wondering if they supported any way
to pass parameters to the xsl file straight from IE.
