Subject: [xsl] XPath position determination From: s.livingstone@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Fri, 31 Aug 2001 08:29:23 +0100 (BST) |
With the following <root>
A

B

C
</root> using XPath what is the simplest way to determine the position/index of B relative to the root? So "/root/item[.='B']" gets me to it and "/root/item[position()=1]" does also, but how do i get the position back for any element? ta much, steven.
