Subject: [xsl] child nodes containing a string From: "Carmelo Montanez" <carmelo@xxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 1 Oct 2001 11:13:03 -0400 |
HI all:
I would like to post a question to the group. what would be the
quickest way
to find out ALL of the children node of the corrent node containing a
specific string? Consider the following pseudo xml code:
<root>
<test>
<child1>value1string1value1</child1>
<child1>value11string0value11</child1>
<</test>
<test>
<child1>value2String1value2</child>
<child1>value22string2value22</child>
</test>
<test>
<child1>value3string1value3</child>
<child1>value33string3value33</child>
<test>
.....
</test>
</root>
and so on
I want to find all the child nodes containing the string "string1"
I think the test starts with something along the lines of
count(//child::test[child::child1 ......)
Thanks
Carmelo Montanez
