Subject: [xsl] Can XPath / XSLT be aware of XML Schema content models grouping i nformation ? From: Jerome Louvel <Jerome.Louvel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 8 Nov 2001 18:51:59 -0500 |
Here's my problem :
If we have a source document schema like :
...
<xsd:complexType>
<xsd:sequence maxOccurs="2">
<xsd:choice maxOccurs="2">
<xsd:element name="A" type="xsd:decimal"/>
<xsd:element name="B" type="xsd:decimal"/>
</xsd:choice>
<xsd:choice maxOccurs="3">
<xsd:element name="C" type="xsd:string" maxOccurs="2"
minOccurs="2"/>
<xsd:element name="A" type="xsd:decimal"/>
</xsd:choice>
</xsd:sequence>
</xsd:complexType>
...
Is there any way (or plan in XPath 2.0 / XSLT 2.0) to "address" / "select",
for example, the occurences of element A that are part of the 3rd occurence
of the second group which itself is part of the 2nd occurence of the
containing sequence (if this occurences exists) ?
Thanks for your insights !
Jerome
