I would like to announce that Ginger Alliance has released Sablotron 0.80 (an XSLT processor) with complete support of JavaScript extension functions. It recognizes an extension element funct:script as suggested by exslt.org. It should be possible to employ all EXSLT JavaScript modules though this is not tested at the moment.

From JS functions, one has an access to the current context (context node, current node etc.) as well as a read-only DOM access to a transformed document (compliant to ECMAScript/DOM2 Language Binding).
