[xsl] current date and time + passing parameter to xslt

I want to pass "currentTimeZoneOffset"  from my .js to my xsl so that it can
display current date and time.
How can I achieve this?

x = new Date();
	currentTimeZoneOffset = x.getTimezoneOffset();
