cr's doesn't change the body's color, so it should work, cr's or no cr's. It appers that the page height is smaller than the netscape fisical height and the extra space is filled with black (probably in linux becames a gray area, in windows is white :) ). -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Andrew Welch Sent: Wednesday, July 03, 2002 4:36 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [xsl] Counting nodes - now specifying body in stylesheet If you are using wd-xsl its most likely coming from your stylesheet - purely visual carriage returns can be copied to your output without you realising... If find in these situations its best to put as much of it on one line as you can very nice cheers andrew -----Original Message----- From: Américo Albuquerque [mailto:aalbuquerque@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 03 July 2002 16:09 To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [xsl] Counting nodes - now specifying body in stylesheet Hi Mike. yes, I get that to... I add the <header> tag and a title and it is ignored also. maby there is some attribute of the <xsl:output> tag that could make it work. I made an HTML page with the output of the stylesheet and work fine, so the problem ins't the HTML code. -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Mike Leahy Sent: Wednesday, July 03, 2002 2:19 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [xsl] Counting nodes - now specifying body in stylesheet Thank you all for your suggestions - I'm definitely planning to move all my work to XSLT at some point. Américo, I tried adding the xsl:output tag in the beginning of the xsl document, and that solved the table width problem. I'm still left with one small detail; when I use the following body tag: <body bgcolor="#bbbbbb" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" rightmargin="0" margin="0"> I'm still left with whitespace below the table - do you get this as well? Is there a way to get the <body> properties to apply to the entire page like in a normal HTML file?
