Within the same template you have no problem to use unique strings. eg change <div id="{generate-id()}" dr .. <img src="{$bulletURL}" id="{generate-id()}" /> to eg change <div id="{generate-id()}-a" dr .. <img src="{$bulletURL}" id="{generate-id()}-b" /> to if the problem is calls to the same template then it looks like your depth param changes each time, in which case <div id="{generate-id()}-a-{$depth}" dr .. <img src="{$bulletURL}" id="{generate-id()}-b-{$depth}" /> David _____________________________________________________________________ This message has been checked for all known viruses by Star Internet delivered through the MessageLabs Virus Scanning Service.
