Subject: Refinement: [xsl] creating namespaces in a generated script From: "Fries, Markus, fiscus GmbH, Bonn" <M.Fries@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 18 Sep 2002 12:02:40 +0200 |
Ok, I append snippets as I obviously did not make myself clear. Hi, as input to my xslt script, I have an xml file, which contains a path P as text node. The nodes on this path have namespaces. From this xml file I want to generate a stylesheet S in which P is actually used as xpath. The URIs mathing the prefixes could be easily created but how can I include these namespaces in S if they are not part of the input? Regards Markus Fries staroffice/content.xml (which does not include namespace declarations for ns1, ns2, ns): <text:p text:style-name="Standard"> <text:variable-set text:name="__Adressen_jeweilsInZeile" text:value-type="string"> /ns1:elem1/ns1:elem2/ns2:elem3/ns2:elem3</text:variable-set> </text:p> generated.xsl <xsl:template match="/ns1:elem1/ns1:elem2/ns2:elem3/ns2:elem3"> All the missing namespaces have the same format: xmlns:ns1="http//foo.bar.ns1" xmlns:ns2="http//foo.bar.ns2" XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
