Subject: [xsl] wierd textarea behaviour with xsl From: Declan Brennan <dbrennan@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 12 Nov 2002 12:19:56 -0000 |
This is wierd. My xsl code is simple :
<TR>
<TD class="h4">Reason</TD>
<TD>
<textarea rows="5" cols="40" name="comment" class="textbox"
value="{./currentStatus/comment}" />
</TD>
</TR>
XML is :
<body>
<currentStatus>
<comment>Dum de dum de dum de dum Declan is has much to
say.</comment>
My html source is as such:
<TR>
<TD class="h4">Reason</TD>
<TD>
<textarea rows="5" cols="40" type="text" name="comment" class="textbox"
value="Dum de dum de dum de dum Declan is has much to say."/>
</TD></TR>
But what is displayed is a textbox that contains
</TD></TR></table><br/><TABLE and all the rest of the html for
the page till the </html> tag.
What the heck is going wrong? I can't see it. Please help.
THanks a million in advance,
Declan Brennan
