if i have: <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <xsl:when test="$iTimeZoneOffset= '-1'"> </xsl:when> <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> how can i set $iTimeZoneOffset to another variable say iCurrentOffset when you declare iTimeZoneOffset you can say <xsl:variable name="iTimeZoneOffset" select="$iCurrentOffset"/> but if $iTimeZoneOffset is -1 you can't change its value to be iCurrentOffset, as you can never change the value of a variable once it is bound.
