<xsl:stylesheet
xmlns:xsl="uri:xsl"
that isn't the uri for xslt or even the old microsoft version of xslt in
ie5. Does the stylesheet run at all? No conforming XSLT engine will
recognise it as a stylesheet.
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
                xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
you have to have theversion attribute and you have to have that
namespace if you are using xslt.
