I think the usual solution is to use four &#160; for a tab (and one for each space wanted). Perhaps to use an entity in a DTD (don't know enough schema) that can translate a single tab code.

Hello- Totally simple question, but . how can I make insert a tab and/or space characters into my html output from the xsl? &nbsp;, etc aren't legal in the xsl document.... Thanks- mac
