Hi,
Try wrapping script in <xsl:comment> and in a cdata section:
<script>
<xsl:comment>
<![CDATA[
]]>
</xsl:comment>
</script>
This will allow you to write javascript that doesnt bother the xslt processor, and will wrap the script in <!-- --> in the ouput.
