Understood. I was remarking on the difference in parameter count. If we are using the same file (xmlspy fop.bat), the .bat file has room for 8 arguments, and your command line contained only 6. I am assuming that %7 and %8 are not needed "placeholders" as you call them. jwc -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Oleg Tkachenko Sent: Thursday, April 24, 2003 11:56 AM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [xsl] FOP conversion font problems Jack Cane wrote: > As an aside, I note that the fop command line, fop -c > conf\userconfig.xml -fo file.fo -pdf file.pdf, contains only six arguments. > When I look inside the fop.bat file (which, I assume you are using), I find > 8 command line arguments. Can I assume that %7 and %8 are not needed? That's just placeholders for DOS batch script parameters. Don't you remember DOS batch scripting? ;) -- Oleg Tkachenko http://www.tkachenko.com/blog Multiconn Technologies, Israel XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
