<xsl:value-of select="current()"/>

You want just the text node not the whole string value so change that to
<xsl:value-of select="text()"/>
You don't need to use xsl:attribute/xsl:value of at all it just makes
the stylesheet less readable:
<input type="text" name="em" style="width:180" value="{text()}"/>
is all you need.
