That's a real lesson on axis you 've just given me !
It works fine with :
7) test =<xsl:value-of select="(document('mongloss.xml')//mot)[2]"/>
And for your //mot['2'] string explanation, I really thought a gobblin was
inside the machine ... it's clear now.
Thanks again for all this, now I go back to the full code.
