do:
           <xsl:choose>

                 <xsl:value-of select="$field_label"/>
               </xsl:element>
             </xsl:when>
             <xsl:otherwise>
               <xsl:value-of select="$field_label"/>
             </xsl:otherwise>
           </xsl:choose>
           <xsl:value-of select="xmlconf:convertLWWEntities($field)"/>

}      </xsl:if>
}      <xsl:value-of select="$return"/>
} 
} </xsl:template>
}
