Much in the way as one does in other programming languages, or for that 
matter in natural languages:

<xsl:template match="Signature">
  <xsl:if test="fname = 'aananth' and lname='solaiyappan'">
    <!-- ... do your thing ... -->
  </xsl:if>
</xsl:template>

...unless I misunderstand the question.

The operators involved are "and" and "or". There's also a function "not()", 
which takes a Boolean as its argument, and turns it upside down.
