tabindex based on position. Then i need a mechanism that permits to
increment a variable to use as value of tabindex <a> attribute.
the usual way to generate something based on position is to use the
position() function for example
<xsl:for-each select="something">
<a href="#" tabindex="{position()}">link<xsl:value-of
select="position()"/></a>
You clearly don't need a way to increment a variable (as there is no
way) and given your description, I doubt that you need a variable at
all.
