Subject: Re: [xsl] recursive call-template problem From: omprakash.v@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tue, 15 Mar 2005 08:44:12 +0530 |
Hi,
Thanks. This suggestion worked.
Aron,
Thanks for replying. But Im afraid your solution wasn't of much
help. I already have a recursive call-template with a param that
incrementing by 1. To use your's I would have to have another param that
decrements.
Cheers,

Usually the depth you need is derivable from the structure of the source
and you don't need an explict depth param, eg:
<xsl:for-each select="ancestor::*">
<td> </td>
</xsl:for-each>
However if you do need a depth param and want to make $depth such tds
the easiest way is
<xsl:for-each select="(//*)[position() <= $depth]">
<td> </td>
</xsl:for-each>
